Program Placement
Prekindergarten programs are housed at the three early childhood schools and select elementary campuses. Parents will be
notified of campus and program placement after registration depending on how the student qualifies.
Plano ISD Programs for Preschool Children
Registration will be April 4 and 5, 2019 from 9-11 AM & 1-3 PM
at the early childhood schools listed below.

Each program has specic documents that are required based on the qualications for that program.
Please bring the following as applicable:
Required Documents:
•Birth certicate
•Immunization records
•Social Security card (if available)
•Proof of residency in Plano ISD (gas or electric bill)
•Proof of income (current paycheck stub, tax return, food
stamp documentation or Food and Nutritional Services letter)
If Applicable:
•Military dependents (Department of Defense ID required)
•Letter from Department of Family and Protective Services
•Star of Texas Award eligibility letter
•Bring child to registration for language assessment if a
language other than English is spoken in the home
Services include:
• High quality prekindergarten instruction
• ESL (English as a Second Language)
• Spanish dual language - one way
Ways to qualify – must meet one or more of the following:
• English language learner
• Special education
• Homeless*
• Star of Texas Award
*Children who meet qualifications would be eligible to participate in the full day program.
• Preschool program for children with
disabilities (special education)
• Head Start
• Military dependent
• Economically disadvantaged*
• Foster care*
