The Arlington Corps Community Center was activated for inclement weather shelter on Sunday
and the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Social Service Center is on standby and prepared to serve families in
the area as the n
The Arlington Life Shelter will start taking people in at 2 p.m. Tuesday. It's located at 325 West
Division Street. If the center reaches capacity, workers will recommend people go to the
Salvation Army's Arlington center.

Those experiencing homelessness will be able to get out of the cold and eat a hot meal at the
facility any time of the day.

The Impact Church will also be open starting Sunday. Located at 306 E. Adams Ave., the center

Waco:
The Salvation Army of Waco
Extra room is being made for everyone during the freeze, so there will be no shortage of space
or meals for anyone in McLennan County. Stay warm and eat a hot meal at any time of the day.

Sul Ross Community Center
The City of Waco and Waco-McLennan County Office of Emergency Management are opening
this warming center and providing blankets, cots, meals, and bottled water. Pets in crates are
welcome.

The City of Killeen:
Texas Warming Centers
The Killeen Housing Authority and The City of Killeen have come together to open this
community center for those in need while the frigid temperatures last.
Moss Rose Community Center Location: 1103 E Avenue E
Dinner will also be served at the Moss Rose Center 1103 East Avenue E, and the Center will stay
open overnight to provide shelter to those in need.
Lampasas:
Community Church - Lampasas, Texas
The church is working with the Salvation Army, Ministerial Alliance, Lampasas Mission to
provide hot coffee, food, and shelter. Additional volunteer help is always welcome.

Bryan Tx:
Twin City Mission - Bryan, Texas
This community center in Bryan will offer a warm place to stay and two meals a day during this
week's harsh freeze. They want to help protect community members from the dangerous
weather.

Tom Green County:
The City of San Angelo will be opening a warming shelter from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. each
night beginning Monday, Jan. 30, through Friday, Feb. 3, at Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Center,
1103 Farr St.
