The McNease Convention Center offers four meeting
spaces, each of which may be divided into thirds. The
venue’s most popular space offers more than 12,200
sq. ft. in the largest meeting room. This space may
accommodate 1,200 theater style and 700 banquet
style. The facility plays host to a variety of events,
including conventions, trade shows, dinners, and
receptions. The turnkey rental rates are San Angelo’s
most competitive.
Fort Concho National Historic Landmark was
established in 1867 to protect frontier settlements.
Today, it is a historic preservation project and
museum offering five meeting rooms that may be
rented for day and evening functions. Choose from
Officer’s Quarters 8 (50-75 ppl.), the Commissary
(150-250 ppl.), the Quartermaster, Barracks 6
(100-125 ppl.), or the Stables, the largest space
available for rent, with seating capacity for 360-600
ppl.
The First Financial Pavilion is a 20,000 sq. ft. facility
with occupancy for 1,320 and with more than 2,000
parking spaces. It accommodates 98 10x10 exhibit
booths, seating for up to 1,000 people with rectangular
tables or 700 people with round tables. The pavilion
is a climate-controlled, smoke-free facility, perfect for
hosting meetings, receptions, business events, and
trade shows.
San Angelo’s grand historic City Auditorium opened its
doors on February 8, 1929, and has a seating capacity
of 1,328. Located within City Hall at 72 West College
Avenue, the venue is home to the magnificent
Murphey Performance Hall & Stage, which has hosted
an amazing array of talent including Elvis Presley,
President Bill Clinton, humorist Will Rogers, bluegrass
sensation Alison Krauss, and comedian George Lopez,
to name a few.
