Component Engineer

Paradox Security Systems is an electronics designer and manufacturer in the alarm security

industry that for 30 years produced innovative and industry-leading products. We are looking to

grow our team in Canada to work on our next-generation of products.

Experience you have:

• Hands on experience in technology research, marketing research, existing solutions

comparison.

• Experience in parts approvals and qualifications (electrical, mechanical, assembly and

quality).

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications of components.

• Ability to write detailed non-conforming reports.

• Background in electronic product development and requirements definitions is an asset.

• Interact with different departments situated internally as well as external suppliers.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

What you will do:

• Be the technical resource for the engineering department for supplier quality, components

cost, new updates and releases in technological field.

• Work closely in this role with engineers to implement innovative developed technologies

into the products.

• Assist the purchasing department in new component selection and qualification.
