President’s Scholarship Program

of CWA, etc.) Incomplete applications will not be considered.

NOTE: The scholarship programme will be renewable each academic year based on the academic performance.
Purpose: To Provide scholarships to deserving students interested in or intending to pursue diploma, degree and
post-graduate courses of study at either GTUC.
Award Components: This should state the amount to be awarded and the number of people who would qualify for
the award of the scholarship.
Criteria:
1. For fresh men (and women) the applicant must possess an aggregate of at most 10.
2. For continuing and post graduate students, applicants must have a CWA of at least 70.00 to be considered
for selection.
3. Applicant must demonstrate positive community involvement and academic performance, determined
through statement of purpose.
Application Process:
Applicant must submit the following items:
1. Completed application form (if handwritten, please print legibly)
2. Letter of application addressed to the Scholarship Committee. The letter should contain a brief explanation
of career goals and biographical (background) information.
3. Three (3) letters of recommendations from choice of high school teachers, administrators, counselors,
employers, or individual with significant knowledge of applicant’s experience and involvement.
4. An official and recent high school transcript with cumulative grade point average and a class
standing/rank.
Deadline for all the application will be published before the academic year commences. Applications
received after this published date will not be considered.
