EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Assistant Registrar/Assessment Manager
Dwight School is seeking an Assistant Registrar/Assessment Manager to perform administrative record
keeping duties related to student enrollment. Working collaboratively with the Registrar they will
manage testing processes, and be the first point of contact for teachers, staff, and parents requiring
Registrar and assessment information.
Responsibilities of the position:
Maintains student personal files including confidential information for grades Pre-K through 12
Manages the student record software
Responsible for and responds promptly to all student record requests, including transcripts, report
cards, and other enrollment-related documents
Ensures that all student transcripts are complete and accurate, including transfer students
Coordinates with college counseling office to ensure that they have all required records for
student college applications
Point of contact for updating student and parent profile data in internal database
Works collectively with Registrar in academic reporting process, and all scheduling functions as
needed
Complete special projects and tasks assigned by Registrar
Coordinate external testing (NWEA’s, ERB’s, PSAT’s and practice ACT)
Supplies test data to all appropriate parties (college guidance office, Heads of Schools, Heads of
Departments, Director of Special Studies )
Coordinate testing accommodations for special needs students
Additional duties as delegated by the Vice Chancellor and/or Head of School
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Highly detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills
Technologically savvy, including Microsoft Excel and Google Drive applications
Strong communication skills, including ability to work with parents, students, teachers, and staff
members
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a school or similar office environment preferred
